H10 Tindaya, Fuerteventura

We went for 5 nights as a couple recently and upgraded to Privilege. We had a suite on the top floor with sea views. The man at check in was lovely, very helpful. Our room was also great, spotlessly clean and nice and large. Privilege comes with really nice perks, we had a quiet pool with comfy beds which had it's own cabana with prosecco/orange juice/water at all times. The pool bar is fab, drinks are great and they do a really great lunch in there every day if you don't fancy going back to the hotel. The restaurants are decent. The big main on is massive and loud but the food is great, it's kept clean and they replenish constantly. An enormous variety of food on offer, even the most stringent dietary needs should be able to find something. Route 66 is fine, the food is good but we only went in there once. The a la carte restaurant is also really lovely, quite quiet and if you don't have privilege it's expensive. They do the BEST breakfasts in there though! I've seen a few reviews moaning about the staff - they're run ragged and work very hard! We only encountered one who was a bit grumpy but having seen how some visitors treat them I'm not surprised. I'd say the bars are a little under staffed as there's always queues but they rattle through really quickly. The pools are immaculate but cold! I'm not sure if any are heated, but the pool we were by every day was a bit cold for just bobbing about in, it was great to cool off for a few seconds though. There are lots of pools and loads of beds, always way more beds than people. The beach is lovely, we only went down for a walk but it's a great spot with some beds down there (not the hotels). A few nudists down there so be prepared! There's also some very friendly chipmunks looking hopeful if you're eating down there. Beats seagulls! Overall it's a big, busy, quite impersonal hotel but everything does what it's meant to do and it's all well done. If you want a quiet time and can stretch to Privilege then it's definitely worth it.

This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed at! It has everything that you could need for a great holiday. I went here with my husband and 5 year old daughter. The pools are great, we spent most the time at the slides pool. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from and you can nip down to the beach as its so close. It is a beautiful beach and so clean. The hotel was very clean at all times. The food and drinks were great and such a selection. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I cannot fault this hotel at all. We will definitely return. Thank you!

Yes queues can be 10 mins or so but we were on holiday. Food was good so were the drinks. We found the staff extremely friendly. A very clean hotel. We went privileged and in our opinion well worth the money. The pool area for the privilege was amazing. Only negative was a coffee machine would have been great. On a last note Sara in the privilege Al a Carte is such a credit to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and she remembered who you were how long you were staying small personal details that meant a lot. We will be back

We stayed for ten nights last May in a privilege junior suite with terrace and found the H10 Tindaya to be an excellent all-round hotel. We have stayed at many H10 hotels before, some five times but I would highly recommend the Tindaya, it does not exceed in every aspect, but it does not let you down in any aspect either. From arriving at reception and being greeted by Samual Martinez, who is by far the best front of house employee I have had the pleasure of meeting at any H10 hotel! everything just seemed to work, Samual could not do enough for us throughout our stay and was a breath of fresh air compared to the reception staff at our last H01 hotel only a few months earlier. The room was a good size, well proportioned, spotlessly clean and well maintained, a great terrace with full sun and a sea view. The restaurants where excellent, we always had breakfast in the Alisios, lunch in the Betancuria and evening meal in either the Alissios or route 66, never disappointed with the quality or service and any restaurant. We found the privilege lounge to be comfortable and more than adequate with the variety of drinks and snacks available, we only use the solarium once but it was nicely set out with limited drinks available for self-service. The entertainment was as expected at mainstream hotels, with this being a family hotel the children certainly enjoyed the early evening sessions with Daisy, though the entertainment room was rather busy the bar people worked tirelessly to ensure you never waited for long, oh, did I mention Voll Damm on draught, excellent! The grounds are well maintained and though there was work being carried out on the pool bar area this was of no inconvenience, the hotel is in a nice position to have a walk around the beach or along the paved area. Overall an excellent hotel, great location, a decent privilege package, great room option, exceptional food and service, the staff are just excellent, we will certainly return and are hoping that our visit to another H10 in Mexico in six week’s time can complete with the service given at the Tindaya.

Solo holiday (female) ... hotel is good for solo travellers. I went off peak in March 2023. Food was delicious plenty of variety, bit annoying you have to book your dinner time( &even then it's still busy) The coffee shop outside Mikes wow this place was my favourite.. do try! Great entertainment was the best I've seen in spain/canaries actually. Good wine prosecco and all drinks nice. Rooms good , comfy bed and gardens clean and well maintained. Overall good hotel and good staff. Beautiful views and stunning grounds. Cons: Paying to have your towels changed not good and paying for a safe?! Bars extremely understaffed takes so long for a drink inside and out. Pools need some tlc. There were cochroaches! I only saw in downstairs toilets. Not enough seating In the buffet area or the entertainment room/bar. Having to pay extra if you check out late to continue using facilities drinks and food. Pool snacks need to be covered better birds coming in. This place is not 4 star more 3 star. However I would return. I have stayed at pajara beach next door previously which was a bit better.
